We will introduce a case study of a system that collects and accumulates various signals obtained from equipment (such as pressure and temperature during molding) to understand operational status and perform predictive maintenance for signs of quality degradation. Signal data collected by the PLC is received in a file and analyzed and visualized. After implementation, it became possible to analyze multiple scales, such as waveforms over time and waveforms for each manufacturing timing, and the display format can be switched between two patterns: raw values and moving averages, making trends easier to see.
